Wood is a marvellous material to use for lasering and cutting, bringing the ancient art of pyrography bang up to date and achieving incredible levels of detail.
A recent job was to engrave and cut a series of perfect circles to exact sizes to be inserted into turned wooden bowls. We created the designs to meet the brief and here is a photo the customer sent to us of some finished bowls. If you find yourself up in the Scottish Highlands do watch out for these and bring back a quality souvenir!
We were also asked to make a large engraving of a magnificent stag onto birch ply. We carefully selected a piece with a nice grain and positioned the engraving so it fitted the grain pattern.
We created a complete corporate identity for a customer's new restaurant and casino in Lagos, Nigeria and they asked us to dream up some artisanal table numbers to match the decor and include the shield symbol we had designed for them. Downstairs the theme was warm natural teak whilst the upstairs restaurant required black stained teak. They were really pleased with the result!
